Hikvision DS-2CE12DF3T-PIRXOS 2 MP ColorVu PIR Siren Audio Fixed Bullet Camera

The Hikvision DS-2CE12DF3T-PIRXO is a 2MP TVI bullet camera with a 3.6mm fixed lens, ColorVu technology, and siren audio. Using 130dB true WDR technology, this camera provides clear images against strong backlighting and additional 3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) delivers clean, sharp images. An in-built active strobe light and audio alarm also helps to warn intruders whilst the built-in mic can put sound to those images.

Colorvu is the name for Hikvision’s ultra low light technology. Colorvu technology is designed to deliver clear color images in scenes with almost no light without relying on infrared. Colorvu works by combining large image sensors with advanced image processing which in independent tests has proven to deliver the best images in scenes with very little light.

Colorvu cameras often feature a built-in white light that can provide illumination in complete darkness which allows Colorvu cameras to deliver full-color images 24 hours a day regardless of the lighting condition.

Having color images helps with subject identification, number plates capture and provides accurate context which is lost on conventional cameras.

Siren and Warning Lights

As the first line of defense, the Hikvision DS-2CE12DF3T-PIRXOS has an integrated alarm and red/blue strobe light that will activate once the intelligent heat-sensitive passive infrared (PIR) recognize a human.

As well as a great deterrent, the sudden sound and noise often make the intruder look up at the camera, giving you a much better chance of a clear face image.

In addition, the DS-2CE12DF3T-PIRXO features a high-quality noise-canceling microphone which provides an audio feed alongside the video and allows a 2-way conversation over the camera system.
